Many of our groups meet weekly in their parish churches or surrounding church premises.

2. What if there isn't a group near me?

If there isn’t a group nearby, we’d love to help you start one! It only takes a few mothers with a desire to pray together. We will provide the formation, support, and resources you need to get started.

3. How do I start a prayer group in my parish?

4. Is there a cost to join or start a group?

There is no cost to join or start a group. All materials are provided freely, though some optional resources or products may be available for purchase to support the mission.

5. Do I need to have experience leading a group or praying publicly?

Not at all! Our movement welcomes all mothers, regardless of experience. We offer ongoing formation and resources to support you. Everything is guided by the movements foundational pillars; unity, obedience and humility.

6. Can grandmothers or spiritual mothers join too?

Absolutely! Our movement is open to all women who feel called to pray for children, whether they are biological, spiritual, adopted, or entrusted to their care.

7. What is the structure of a typical prayer group meeting?

A typical meeting includes communal prayer(praying our chaplet rosaries), singing hymns, scripture reflection, intercession for our children, and formation. Every group follows a simple format centered on prayer and unity.

All groups carry the name Mothers Who Pray for Their Children to maintain unity and identity within the international movement. Each group is a local expression of this global mission.

9. Do I need to be Catholic to join?

The movement is rooted in Catholic spirituality and Marian devotion, but all mothers who are open to praying in this way are welcome to participate.
